Following that, Bank Negara Malaysia has enhanced the existing financing facilities under BNM’s Fund for SMEs and these can help restaurants and bars in sustaining business operations and preserving jobs.

OUTLET
- Tables to be set at minimum 2 metres distance from each other, to add marking to
set alternate sitting without face to face frontal for above 4-pax tables or long tables
setup. - Seats at bar to be set at minimum 2 metres distance from each other with visible
marking on bar top table to ensure distancing - Tables must not be shared between different groups
- Recommended tables are not filled to capacity (suggestion by the authority: half capacity)
- All tables and surfaces to be fully disinfected before opening and between each group of customers
- No fixed amenities on table (condiments,menus,napkins,cutlery,ashtrays)
- Amenities to be fully disinfected before giving to customers


- Contactless payment to be encouraged – card machines to be fully disinfected before giving to
consumers to type pin - Hand sanitiser to be made available on entry/on tables, bar top & cashier counter.
- To set single entry & single exit separately at premises to ensure crowd control.
- To prepare waiting area with proper seating/queueing area adhering to social distancing
marking if possible for crowd control, especially during peak hours.

- Temperatures to be checked before every shift
- Employees to wear facemasks – to be provided by employer
- Employees to wash hands between serving customers, best to practice gloves wearing
at all the times with sanitising at each serving interval.

- Temperatures to be checked before entry
- Details taken for contact tracing purposes – Full name, IC Number, Phone number with a minimum of 3 months record keeping.

Once you are ready to reopen your outlet,
please follow the below guidance to start-up
your dispense equipment. Ensure you contact your
local technical team to ensure the draught beer
system has been serviced before you open.
Turn on the cellar cooling on.
- Turn on the beer cooling system and check that it has not frozen over and is still full with water
- Ensure gas canister is full and turned on
- Check beer lines for any sign of infection. Beer lines will be cleaned by the technical team before opening
- Check nozzles for cleanliness. sanitise before serving
- Deep clean all glassware to ensure the glass is hygienic and safe to serve
- Ensure tap fonts are clean and illuminated
- Check kegs BBD and only tap kegs that are in date
